Blank Frame – Eyes in the night storm (ending theme)

In this article I will confess to you about the ending of the game. This is really a very cruel thing, but eventually that rusty iron cabinet falls completely.

The apartment above Henri’s was long abandoned, empty with faded walls. Henri told himself that this place was very similar to his apartment and found the atmosphere uncomfortable and suffocating even though the windows were broken. Then it felt like something cold was rolling in my head, feeling uncomfortable with shortness of breath.

Finally, questions like: “Where is this? Is this how it will come…? Is this my life?” Then the credits popped up… That’s the ending I got the first time – I was a bit confused at first because I didn’t understand what happened. But now that I think about it, that might be the reason why I never got to see this character’s face…

As I said at the beginning, this game has 2 endings according to the introduction. Based on what I’ve seen on youtube, in order to really get out, Henri must not only face but also struggle with his own fear and loneliness in the first place. Only when you overcome your vague fear and loneliness will the door really open. Now that empty window frame will not be empty anymore…

In short, although the graphics are a bit old like a game of the 2000s, the plot is also quite good along with the gloomy atmosphere of psychological horror. And the story in Blank Frame is pretty good – if Henri can get out of the apartment. I actually like this kind of horror: no heart-pounding scares or anything that pops up out of nowhere – it’s just like staring out a window in the middle of the night.
